# Interacting with Agents

Users can interact with Quicksilver agents from the Quicksilver website [qs.iotex.me](https://qs.iotex.me/). There are two main ways users can initiate a conversation: using the global chat, or searching for a specific agent.

## Global Chat

Users can ask general questions via the **global chat** input available on the Quicksilver home page. This allows them to interact with any agent that matches their query: if one of the available agents is relevant to the query, it will automatically respond:

## Specific Agent Chat

Users can also choose to engage directly with a specific agent:

* They start a chat with the agent from the agents list, or access it from the agent's details page
* A dedicated chat window will appear where they can submit questions or commands to the agent

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.iotex.io/quicksilver/getting-started/interacting-with-agents.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
